As aSr Support Engineer at Solenis, you will play a key role insupporting our District’s water treatment operations. You willensure that treatment chemicals and equipment are appliedeffectively, economically, and safely across customer sites. Thisrole is essential to the ongoing success of our treatment programsand customer relationships.
Specific responsibilities include: Conduct routine service visits, perform system testing, andensure optimal performance of water treatment programs. Document all service activities through detailed reports anddistribute them to internal and external stakeholders. Maintain accurate records of onsite chemical inventories. Support Sales Account Managers in the design, implementation,and optimization of water treatment programs. Troubleshoot technical issues at customer sites and assist indeveloping corrective action plans in collaboration with AccountManagers. Identify growth opportunities at existing customer accounts andsupport business development efforts at prospect sites. Analyze data to assess treatment program performance andrecommend improvements. Ensure all activities are conducted in a safe,customer-focused, and compliant manner.
What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a relatedtechnical field is preferred. Experience in industrial water treatment or a similar industry,preferred. Must live within 45 minutes of Baton Rouge or be willing torelocate. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required. Strong customer focus and problem-solving mindset. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
