Entry Level Water/Wastewater Engineer 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Parlin, NJ Description CME Associates, a leader in engineering services, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Parlin, NJ team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for environmental engineering and be eager to contribute to a dynamic team working on innovative water and wastewater projects.

Responsibilities Design and Analysis:

Assist in the design, modeling, and analysis of water distribution and wastewater collection systems, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities.

Project Documentation:

Prepare engineering reports, calculations, technical drawings, and specifications under the supervision of senior engineers.

Field Support:

Conduct field investigations, site inspections, and data collection to support project development and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Regulatory Compliance:

Assist in preparing permit applications and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Collaboration:

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental scientists, planners, and construction managers, to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or related Engineering field.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or hydraulic modeling software (e.g., WaterCAD, SewerCAD) is a plus.

Communication Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and contribute innovative ideas to engineering challenges.

Licensure:

Eligibility to obtain an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
