Summary SESI is seeking an experienced water and wastewater engineer with a strong background in water and wastewater systems. The position offers an excellent opportunity for rapid advancement due to anticipated retirements within the next three (3) to five (5) years. Responsibilities

• Design water and wastewater systems in compliance with local, state and federal guidelines
• Prepare and submit permit applications to regulatory agencies
• Perform process and hydraulic calculations to size and select equipment
• Perform hydraulic modeling on both water and wastewater systems
• Conduct engineering evaluations and feasibility studies for water and wastewater projects
• Prepare detailed contract drawings, technical specifications and cost estimates for water and wastewater projects
• Perform engineering services during construction including but not limited to reviewing contractor submittals, and evaluating requests for information, processing contractor pay requests, and leading job conferences
• Oversee construction and installation of water and wastewater facilities
• Prepare user rate and tapping fee studies
• Prepare proposals for including development of project scope and fees Other duties as assigned. Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience in water and wastewater facility design and construction.
• Pennsylvania registered Professional Engineer’s (PE) license or the ability to obtain one.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) and hydraulic modeling software.
• Demonstrated ability effectively managing projects from concept through construction.
• Ability to work well on several multi-disciplinary projects at a time.
• Experienced in technical and proposal writing.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.
• Ability to work independently at times and as a part of a multidisciplinary team of others.
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office business software, including Word, Excel, etc.
• Typing/word processing skills and proficiency with email and internet.
• Verbal and written communication skills required.
• Highly motivated, desires to grow professionally in a small company environment.
