Responsibilities:

Provides technical guidance on project scope, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
Supports PM providing technical leadership on various projects. Conducts technical planning representing analysis, creating designs, preparing reports, and other various tasks.
Designs a complete project, system, component, or process.
Reviews and may prepare complete project documents for conformity and project assurance.
Influences stakeholders and manages stakeholder relationships within and outside Barge.
Directs on-site visits to monitor progress of projects
Mentors and reviews work of more junior staff for quality purposes.
Technical lead on multi-phase or complex projects.
Applies thorough knowledge and proficiency acquired through progressive experience to resolve challenging issues.
Can be considered a SMS in a discipline or market practice area.
Keeps informed regarding new methods and developments affecting the organization and recommends new practices or changes in emphasis.
Effectively collaborate with business and teams to meet defined objectives.
Performs other duties as requested.

Education & Experience Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from accredited program.
Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience.
Registered PE.
