Water/Wastewater Project Engineer We have a career opportunity for an experienced professional engineer, who has prior experience with water/wastewater and/or water resources engineering. The successful candidate will self-perform and direct project teams in the planning and design of water-related infrastructure projects, as well as play an important role in maintaining client relationships. The position includes involvement in strategic initiatives that will continue to drive the growth of the water/wastewater group, not only in Tennessee but nationwide. Location This position will have a hybrid work schedule and, when in the office, will work in our Franklin or Nashville location. The Impact You Will Have
Advanced recognition of the need for and development of design
Perform complex analysis and check and sign off on basic design calculations and plans
Layout drawings for a component and demonstrate an understanding of relationship to the whole
Design elements/components of a project and coordinate development with other elements and disciplines
Demonstrate understanding between specifications, cost estimates and pay
Assume responsibility for assigned design calculation files, assuring adequate independent QC reviews on that
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required
Minimum of four (4) years of experience with water resources, drinking water, and/or wastewater
Licensed PE in Tennessee
Increasing skills in creativity and judgment in application of engineering
Increased knowledge of software appropriate for the discipline, showing proficiency in multiple programs specific for this
Ability to collaborate with others in a team environment
