As an integral member of our team, you’ll operate under direct supervision, diving into the intricacies of month-end close processes, collaborating with practice Controllers, and maintaining accurate financial records. Role Overview:
Operate under direct supervision to prepare necessary entries and schedules for month-end close of assigned oncology practices.
Support and ad to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly close for all practices and managementpanies to ensure accuracy andpleteness.
Ensure appropriate monthly accruals.
Collaborate with practice Controllers to obtain necessary information and explanations.
Ensurepliance with Management Services Agreements for all practices.
Accurately account for new practices, including opening balance sheet, adjustments, and MSA.
Reconcile all balance sheet accounts monthly, backed by valid detail.
Review monthly ing Package for all practices for accuracy, reasonableness, andpleteness.
Ensure timely submission of ing Packages to Controllers for review and respond promptly to inquiries.
Meet corporate reporting deadlines.
Provide various practice-specific reporting as requested by Controllers.
Ensure accuracy andpleteness of fixed assets records, including depreciation.
Implement new fixed asset system.
Assist in the annual budgeting process for all practices
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field.
Entry-level position with 0-2 years of experience.
Physical Demands:
Full range of body motion including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Ability to stand/sit for extensive periods.
Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 40 lbs.
Corrected vision and hearing to normal range required.
Work Environment:
Office environment with frequent interaction with staff, patients, and the public.
