What You Will Do:

Performs planning, coordination, and administration of general accounting activities. Prepares and maintains journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, account analysis, and subsidary ledgers. Assists with the preparation of the annual budget and strategic plans as required. May produce financial statements and budget-to-actual reports. Prepares audit and tax work papers for assigned areas. Prepares, analyzes, and maintains trend information. Analyzes reports and financial statements to identify significant fluctuations in operating trends. Compiles summary reports for management use. Administers performance improvement program, performance evaluations, competencies and department orientation completion. Maintains communication and coordination with other accounting team members to gather financial information used to prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.

What You Will Need:

LIcensure:

Accountant licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed preferred.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement.
