The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, with a focus on delivering high-quality financial services. As a CPA, you will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making. Duties Prepare and examine financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Manage accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections. Conduct cash flow analysis to monitor the organization’s financial health. Prepare detailed financial reports for management and stakeholders, highlighting key insights and trends. Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in employee compensation and compliance with tax regulations. Provide mentorship to junior accounting staff, fostering their professional development. Utilize PeopleSoft or similar accounting software for efficient financial management. Engage in governmental accounting practices as required by specific projects or clients. Stay updated on financial concepts and regulatory changes that may impact the organization’s operations. Skills Proficient in accounting principles and practices, with a strong grasp of GAAP. Experience in accounts receivable management and cash flow analysis. Strong mentoring skills to guide junior staff effectively. Familiarity with PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems is preferred. Knowledge of payroll processes and governmental accounting standards is advantageous. Excellent written communication skills for financial report writing. Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
