With a strong focus on excellence, safety, and integrity, we’re seeking a talented Controller to join our leadership team and support our continued growth. Position Summary As Controller, you will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in accounting and compliance with all relevant regulations. This role is ideal for a hands-on, detail oriented professional with a solid understanding of construction accounting. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and job costing Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Maintain general ledger and ensure timely month-end close Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors Implement and maintain internal controls Monitor cash flow and provide regular financial reporting to leadership Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations Support project managers with financial data related to ongoing jobs Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, (CPA is a plus) 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry Strong knowledge of GAAP Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, including job costing and WIP schedules Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage 300, Quick Books, Viewpoint, or similar) Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment What We Offer Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Opportunities for professional growth Supportive and collaborative work environment Work with a company building a better future, literally
