Responsibilities:

Job Description This person will be a key contributor to the Financial Reporting team, supporting the Senior Manager of Financial Reporting and Director of Financial Reporting. The role creates value for the Company and its stakeholders, including investors, lenders and regulators, through accurate and efficient preparation of external and internal financial statements and other reports. To successfully fulfill the position’s responsibilities, the Financial Reporting Associate will work with professionals in departments throughout the Company and engage with various external parties and subject matter experts. The Financial Reporting Associate must possess technical competence (i.e. able to perform accounting research) and must be strategically oriented (i.e. able to analyze data, apply accounting standards and define/solve problems). Job Role Responsibilities Key responsibilities include the following: Assist the Financial Reporting Team in the preparation of LSE and SEC filings such as Annual Reports, Mid-Year Reports, 10-Ks, 10-Qs, et al., and review of XBRL Prepare account reconciliations and journal entries for certain high-risk accounts Assist in the preparation of earnings and other press releases Opportunities to assist in other areas of accounting including technical research for significant transactions Provide support for our external audit obligations Perform additional/ad-hoc duties and other projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications, Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s Degree is preferred 2+ years of financial reporting or public accounting experience Familiar with or interested in the natural gas and oil industry CPA preferred Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, LSE and SEC reporting requirements Familiar with Workiva and Hyperion Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint Highly motivated and detail-oriented, keen analytical and problem-solving skills Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Commitment to continuous improvement
