Accounting Accounting Full Job Description Overview:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining, monitoring and reporting financial and accounting information. Working under the supervision of the Controller, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing and posting journal entries, assisting with the month-end close, reconciling bank and balance sheet accounts, reporting statistics and maintaining fixed assets. The Staff Accountant will also serve as a backup to the Accounts Payable and Payroll staff.
Qualifications:
Education Required Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required. Education Preferred License, Certification and/or Registration CPA preferred. Experience Minimum of two years accounting experience, preferably in a health care setting required.
