This position processes and manages payments received and provides related accounting support.
Examples of Duties Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Research and resolve issues concerning all Account Receivable (AR) accounts including third parties. Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Contract setup and maintenance for third party billing. Develop and create correspondence in response to AR inquiries. Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders to students and third parties. Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status. Generates accounting statements and reports. Perform other duties as assigned. Typical Qualifications Minimum Position Requirements (including years of experience, certifications, licenses, etc.): Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business related field. At least two (2) years of accounts receivable experience. Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP and GASB).
