Hours:

Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Duties Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and collections. Perform general ledger accounting, including debits and credits. Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data. Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Prepare financial statements and reports for management review. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making. Experience Proven experience in financial accounting or a similar role is required. Experience with Sage is mandatory. Strong knowledge of journal entries, accounts receivable, debits and credits, and general ledger accounting is essential. Experience with payroll processing and account reconciliation is preferred. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is necessary for effective performance in this role. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail are crucial for success. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
