Senior Accountant Reports To:

Controller Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

o Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. o Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant accounting standards. o Prepare and file all required tax returns. o Oversee the preparation of management reports and financial analyses.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

o Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s financial strategy. o Prepare financial forecasts and budgets. o Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Compliance:

o Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations, including SEC reporting requirements and tax laws. o Maintain relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong leadership and communication skills.

Additional Skills:

Experience with accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Business Central). Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques. Experience with mergers and acquisitions.

Job Type:

$75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
