Job Description:

Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for a RevenueAccountant for our fast-growing client in Raleigh, NC 27612. TheRevenue Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate revenuerecognition in compliance with ASC 606 and will play a key part inanalyzing customer contracts, managing revenue schedules, andsupporting month-end close activities. The ideal candidate willbring a strong understanding of revenue recognition principles andproject billing.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain revenueschedules and related journal entries. Analyze and reconciledeferred revenue accounts and ensure alignment with contract terms.

Apply ASC 606 principles to review customer contracts and determineappropriate revenue recognition treatment. Support the monthly,quarterly, and year-end close processes, including revenue accrualsand reconciliations. Assist in the preparation of financialreporting and provide revenue insights to internal stakeholders.

Identify and implement process improvements to streamline revenuerecognition and reporting. Ensure compliance with internalpolicies, SOX controls, and relevant accounting standards. LeverageSage Intacct to track, report, and reconcile revenue dataeffectively.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting,Finance, Business or related field MBA or CPA preferred 3 years ofRevenue Accounting and Project Billing experience required Strongworking knowledge of ASC 606 strongly preferred Hands-on experiencewith Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems.
