Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Accountant to join our team remotely. This role involves preparing taxes for the business owner , managing accounts receivable, and supporting general accounting needs for our established body shop and towing service.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and organize tax documentation for the business owner (CPA/Accountant) Manage and monitor accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and payment tracking Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate financial records Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth financial operations Maintain confidentiality of all financial and client information

Qualifications:

Proven experience in accounting, preferably in a small business or service-based industry Solid understanding of A/R processes and basic tax preparation Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks experience preferred) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
