Job Description

Position Overview Ledgent Finance & Accounting’s client is currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Job Cost Associate to join their team in Connecticut. This role involves key financial operations related to job costing and requires a candidate who is proficient in the use of technology and possesses excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving slips. Code invoices and verify quantities, pricing, sales tax, job numbers, and cost codes. Key approved invoice details into the Timberscan system. Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy and compliance. Utilize technology daily for various tasks, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate effectively with team members to meet deadlines and maintain seamless operations. Maintain strong communication skills to facilitate smooth interactions with vendors and internal teams. Qualifications Detail-oriented and well-organized individual with strong attention to accuracy. Proficient in MS Word and Excel. Previous experience in a construction background is preferred. Familiarity with Timberscan/Sage systems is preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Required Work Hours The position requires availability from Monday to Friday, during 1st shift hours. Benefits This position offers a competitive pay range from $23 to $25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
