Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Supervisorto strengthen our finance team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong general accounting and financial reporting expertise to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will bring comprehensive knowledge of reconciliations, fixed assets, compliance, accruals, audit processes, and financial reporting while demonstrating eagerness to understand our operational business. Working directly with our Controller, you’ll play a key role in daily accounting operations while having clear pathways for professional growth. Strong communication skills are essential as you’ll collaborate across departments and present financial insights to various stakeholders. Essential Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive financial data analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities
Execute thorough account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations across all business entities
Oversee daily accounting department operations and workflow
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior accounting staff
Drive month-end closing procedures and ensure timely completion
Process journal entries, reconcile general and subsidiary ledger accounts, and prepare accurate accruals and adjustments
Support preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements and comprehensive reports
Develop monthly financial analysis and executive-level management reports
Facilitate external audit processes by organizing documentation and providing detailed explanations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience with emphasis on general accounting functions
Thorough understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial compliance requirements
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate complex financial concepts for diverse audiences
