Junior Accountant Opportunity Our client is seeking a highlymotivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join ourcorporate headquarters team based in Stamford, CT.
KeyResponsibilities:
Post and reconcile bank transactions on a regularbasis. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes,including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, andfinancial statement variance analysis. Maintain and update journalentries, accruals, and prepaid expense schedules as needed. Ensurecompliance with internal accounting policies and corporateprocedures. Prepare audit schedules and provide support during theannual external audit. Prepare and file sales and other tax returnsaccurately and on time. Support special projects and ad hocfinancial analyses as assigned. Perform other accounting andadministrative duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degreein Accounting or a related field. 1 years of corporate accountingexperience preferred. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ahigh level of dedication. Proficient in Microsoft Excel with stronganalytical skills. INJUN2025
