Junior Fiduciary Accountant Overview:

A well-established andhighly respected private client services firm is seeking adetail-oriented and motivated Junior Fiduciary Accountant to joinits Trusts & Estates team. This is an excellent opportunity forsomeone with a background in accounting or tax who is looking tobuild a long-term career supporting high-net-worth individuals andcomplex estate structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare federaland state fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041) for trusts andestates. Assist with the preparation of estate and inheritance taxreturns (e.g., Form 706). Draft estate and trust accountings ,probate schedules, and related financial reports. Track and manageclient financial data including investments, disbursements, andincome. Maintain accurate documentation and support attorneys andsenior staff in trust and estate administration . Coordinate withclients, financial institutions, and internal teams to gathernecessary information. Monitor deadlines and ensure all filings andrequired reports are submitted in a timely manner. Support clientservice initiatives with professionalism, discretion, and accuracy.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting orFinance (required). 1-3 years of relevant experience, ideallywithin a public accounting , private client , or family officeenvironment. Working knowledge of fiduciary taxation and trustaccounting principles preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel andgeneral ledger systems. CPA or Enrolled Agent designation a plus,or on track to obtain. Excellent organizational and communicationskills with a high degree of attention to detail. Ability to managemultiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Compensation& Benefits:

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience($60,000-$80,000 range). Comprehensive benefits package includinghealth, dental, and retirement plans.
