Management Company Accountant
Greenwich, CT We’re seeking an accounting professional to support a lean, high-performing finance team at a growing investment platform. This individual will play a key role in day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and process improvements across corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities are:

• Perform full-cycle accounting and reporting for the management company.
• Manage monthly and quarterly close processes, including reconciliations, allocations, accruals, and expense tracking
• Manage / process accounts / payable and receivables
• Monitor and account for intercompany transactions across the management company
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense management efforts
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors on annual filings and audits
• Assist with process improvements, systems upgrades, and implementation of controls and best practices
• Partner with other internal teams (fund accounting, tax, investor relations) to support the broader finance function

Qualifications:

• 2-7 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally including: ○ 2-3+ years of public accounting (Big 4 or national firm preferred) ○ 2-3+ years of private equity, asset management, or investment firm experience, with a focus on management company/GP accounting
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, partnership accounting, and management company structures
• Excellent Excel skills; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
