Senior Accountant Our client is a critically acclaimedarchitecture firm providing architectural, interior design andmaster planning services to private, corporate and public sectorclients. Senior AccountantResponsibilities Assist the Controller with day to day activities.

Prepare journal entries related to month-end closing activitiesPrepare and perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations Reviewthe general ledger for input accuracy and verifying that accountshave been reviewed for content Reconcile bank statements Assist inthe preparation of the weekly payroll Prepare Time Analysis reportson projects as needed Manage Accounts Payable process, enteringinvoices, obtaining W-9 from vendors, printing checks Manage fixedasset ledger Perform other duties as assigned including specialprojects and analysis on an ad hoc basis Computer Skills Provenability to learn new systems quickly is essential. Advanceexperience in MS Excel, including prior experience with PivotTables and or Vlookup would be a plus Education and Experience Thecandidate should have excellent organization and interpersonalskills, time management and attention to detail Prior experienceworking at an Architecture/Engineering and/or Service based firm isa plus, but not mandatory – 5 years of accounting experience wouldbe helpful A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
