Senior Accountant Job Overview:

Our client is seeking anexperienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic and growingteam as part of their financial operations. They are aninternational organization, with locations in the US and UK, andthe client offers a hybrid work schedule – 2 days from home and 3days out of their corporate office in Stamford, CT . This role iscritical to our client’s financial management and reportingprocesses, supporting their continued growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute monthly, quarterly, andyear-end financial close processes Perform bank reconciliations forassigned properties Reconcile cash accounts daily Manage AccountsPayable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) for specific propertiesProcess and manage cash receipts for restaurant and hoteloperations Prepare and record necessary accruals Calculate andprepare sales and use tax reports Maintain accurate and timelyfinancial records Support internal financial auditing processesEnsure compliance with accounting standards and regulationsCollaborate with team members to maintain financial integrity

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, orrelated field Strong attention to detail Proficiency in accountingsoftware and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent analytical andproblem-solving skills Strong communication abilities Previousexperience in hospitality or multi-location or multi-entityaccounting Knowledge of sales and use tax regulations
