Job Description
Senior Accountant
Danbury, CT Prepare and record journal entries, financial statements, and account reconciliations, including supporting analysis.
Support month-end close activities for the general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Analyze financial results and provide variance explanations compared to budget and historical trends.
Identify and recommend opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve revenue generation.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual covenant compliance reporting.
Calculate and support payroll processes for healthcare providers.
Prepare audit-ready documentation and assist external auditors during financial reviews.
Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
