Full Job Description What You’ll Do:
As an Accounts Associate, you’ll support the financial success of your assigned community. Your primary responsibility will be managing Accounts Receivable and overseeing the rent collection process, while also contributing to leasing, management, and administrative functions. This full-time, non-exempt position reports directly to the Property Manager.

What You’ll Own:
Ensure the property meets or exceeds delinquency targets by accurately collecting and posting rental and vendor payments to optimize cash flow and financial performance. Monitor and address bad debt by preparing late notices, contacting residents and guarantors, and filing evictions when necessary. Prepare and distribute statement-of-account notices for former residents, as well as other community-issued notices. Assist the Property Manager in preparing weekly and monthly financial reports. Prepare, review, and close financial books for assigned properties on a monthly basis. Support customer service efforts by addressing escalated resident complaints professionally and efficiently. Participate in leasing activities, including lead management, prospect tours, closing sales, and assisting with the application and leasing process. Ensure all paperwork is properly completed and screening procedures are followed. Contribute to resident retention efforts by participating in the renewal process and maintaining high standards of cleanliness for the clubhouse, model unit, and tour routes. Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree in Property Management, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. Experience with Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable, bookkeeping, or account management preferred. Familiarity with property management software, such as OneSite, Entrata, or other RealPage products, is highly desirable. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating formulas, sorting, and filtering data. Ability to participate in emergency duties as needed.
