Sr. Accountant Position Available In Brevard, Florida

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Melbourne, Florida. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing and reconciling financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial analysis and extensive experience in large company environments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Manage bank reconciliations to maintain up-to-date and error-free financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger in compliance with accounting principles.
• Oversee the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze and interpret financial data.
• Work with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP to manage accounting processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and ensure adherence to financial regulations. Requirements
• Proven experience in account reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of balance sheet and bank reconciliation procedures.
• Proficiency in preparing journal entries and managing general ledger accounts.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
• Demonstrated ability to manage month-end close processes in a corporate environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Large company experience is highly preferred.
