Job DescriptionJob Description
Successful real estate, construction and construction management company looking for bookkeeper/ accountant / officer manager to maintain financial records, etc. Our ideal candidate is familiar with QuickBooks, Appfolio, Excel, Word, and computer literate. responsibilities would be to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions but are not necessarily limited to:
Process weekly payrollProcess AR/APDaily remote depositMonthly Bank accounts reconciliation.

Maintain supplier accounts by verifying and posting transactions and ultimate reconciliation.

Create and manage invoicing.

Maintains records by filing documents as appropriate.

Prepares financial reports, monthly and year end close.

Maintain bookkeeping policies and procedures.

Assist , coordinate and provide necessary documentation for construction projects.

Any other duties deemed necessary by supervisors.

Responsibilities:

Obtain primary financial data for accounting recordsCompute and record numerical dataCheck the accuracy of business transactionsPerform data entry and administrative dutiesRun Payroll every weekManage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basisCreate invoicesKeep track of insurance certificates for auditsFacilitate internal and external audits as neededLook after general ledgerManage Accounts PayableOversee Accounts ReceivableArrange cash flow projections, as neededProduce subcontractor 1099’s, and any other IRS year-end requirementUphold monthly accounting closeSupervise monthly accounting closeArrange monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documentsManage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handlingSort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documentsContact vendors for paymentsInsurance AuditsMortgage AuditsAIA Documents

Qualifications:

Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fieldsFundamental knowledge of GAAPAbility to prioritize and multitaskStrong organizational skillsDeadline and detail-orientedHave experience with QuickbooksHave experience with AppfolioHave some experience with AIA documents

Requirements:
