Accountant Position Available In Broward, Florida

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing general accounting functions, preparing financial statements, ensuring accuracy of financial records, and assisting with audits and tax filings. Experience with SAP , Excel , and Hyperion is essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts using SAP . Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Utilize Hyperion for financial reporting, consolidation, and budgeting processes. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Handle accounts payable and receivable functions. Conduct monthly bank and account reconciliations. Process journal entries and ensure proper documentation. Support external audits by providing necessary documents and explanations. Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures. Analyze financial data and provide insights to management using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.). Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements (if applicable).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of accounting experience. Hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO modules preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including advanced functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros). Familiarity with Hyperion Financial Management or Hyperion Planning . Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial principles. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. CPA certification is a plus.
