Accountant Best Price Car Dealer Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 We are looking for a skilled Accountant to manage key aspects of our financial record-keeping and reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and forecast activities, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger entries. Prepare and post month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing journal entries. Perform timely reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement). Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Assist with tax preparation and compliance (sales tax, federal/state income tax). Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement. Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant financial regulations. Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting processes and internal controls. Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and support operational needs.
Qualifications:
