Accountant Position Available In Broward, Florida

Vaco is hiring an Accountant Location – West Palm Beach (training will be in Broward for about a month)

Compensation:

$24-$28/hour We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our finance team. This individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting budgeting, reporting, and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain financial records in accordance with GAAP Manage accounts payable and receivable processes Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts Process month-end and year-end close activities Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial reports Maintain and organize documentation for audits and compliance Analyze financial data and trends to support decision-making Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing (if applicable) Collaborate with external auditors, tax preparers, or regulatory agencies as needed Support other finance and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3-4+ years of relevant accounting experience Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail Excellent organizational and communication skills
