Lead Tax Accountant Bellows Associates P.A. Coral Springs, FL 33065 Bellows Associates, P.A., a rapidly growing accounting firm in Coral Springs, FL, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant with a strong tax background. The position requires 5 years of experience a valid CPA license and a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Lead Tax Accountant Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting (required). Valid CPA Required 5 years of tax accounting experience required.
Lead Tax Accountant Key Responsibilities:
Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and Not-for-Profit tax returns, along with related forms and schedules. Perform tax compliance, reporting, and research to ensure accurate and timely filings. Communicate with clients to collect necessary documents and provide guidance on tax matters. Ensure all tax returns comply with legislation and IRS regulations. Analyze financial statements, perform reconciliations, and prepare adjusting journal entries. Respond to notices from tax authorities and assist clients in resolving issues.
Lead Tax Accountant Required Skills & Expertise:
Proficiency in preparing tax returns (1040, 990, 1120, 1120S, 1065). Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation. Highly skilled in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online), Microsoft Office, and various tax preparation software. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Clear and professional written and verbal communication abilities.
