POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled SeniorAccountant to join our dynamic finance team. As an Sr. Accountant,you will support our Treasury management function across our US,Canada, Mexico and Europe businesses. You will play also play apivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reportingacross all three financial statements. This is a crucial positionthat requires a strong understanding of accounting principles,combined with a background in treasury/cash reporting, daily cashreporting consolidation of 40+ disbursement and deposit accounts inmultiple currencies, including compliance around ABL reportingrequirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage variousclose responsibilities including, but not limited to, cash,prepaids and other assets, accruals, Notes Payable, inter-companytransactions and cost allocations. Preparation of monthly andquarterly journal entries. Provide support in the Cash Managementfunction including daily cash report of the company’s cash positionof + 40 bank accounts in multiple currencies and including an ABLlending facility. Provide support in the enhancement and completionof the 6-week cash plan and performing AR analysis for ABL linecompliance. Serve as back up to the Cash Manager as needed.
Maintain principal and interest schedules for various loans andnotes payable. Collaborate with Finance Transformations to driveefficiencies in our systems environment and deployment of systemfunctionality in support of corporate sponsored initiatives.
Support the development and implementation of accounting policiesand practices in conformity with GAAP. Assist in audits and respondto inquiries from auditors as needed. Execute other ad-hoc projectsand initiatives as directed by the Controller in accordance withcompany’s strategy and values.
QUALIFICATIONS
(Education,Experience, & Skills required): Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,CPA is a plus although not required. In-depth understanding ofGenerally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 3+ years’experience in professional accounting. Strong background in CashManagement Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, advancedExcel skills highly desired. Demonstrates strong analytical andproblem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented and able to handlemultiple tasks simultaneously. Possesses strong verbal and writtencommunication skills. Strong desire to collaborate in a “team”focused environment Licensing or other special certifications:
Master’s degree in finance or accounting and/or CPA preferred.
