Senior Accountant Position Available In Broward, Florida

Senior Accountant needed in Sunrise FL! This is a 2 days on site – 3 days work from home role! Must have strong NetSuite experience! This is a 6 month contract with potential to extend! Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with expertise in NetSuite to manage and support audit and due diligence requests. This role involves generating reports, researching journals, and preparing financial exhibits based on data from NetSuite. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will assist with day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities + Generate reports for audit requests using NetSuite. + Research journals, invoices, and other financial documents as needed. + Prepare Excel reports and exhibits based on NetSuite data. + Build new queries in NetSuite to support financial reporting needs. + Prepare BSR assignment logs and create reports to provide actual balances at month-end. + Assist with the preparation of simple, low-complexity BSRs. + Rollover monthly files to initiate a new month’s accounting activities. Essential Skills + Experience with NetSuite. + Proficiency in accounting, general ledger, and month-end processes. + Ability to perform reconciliations, journal entries, and manage accounts receivable. + Strong understanding of balance sheets, financial reporting, and bank reconciliation. + Experience with accrual accounting and financial statement preparation. + Competence in audit processes and financial reporting. + Advanced skills in using pivot tables and Excel for financial analysis. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 – $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
