Responsibilities
As a Senior Property Accountant , you will be responsible for a broad spectrum of financial and accounting matters affecting our commercial properties. Key duties include but not limited to: Enter financial data and transactionsAccounts Receivable Accounts PayableMonthly Tenant Posting/BillingBank ReconciliationsFinancialsFlorida Sales Tax LiabilityInvestor Distribution and ROCBudgetsCAM Charges and ReconciliationsAnnual Property Income Tax Preparation for AccountantComplete required tax formsVarious other duties as neededQualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field preferredExperience using Rent Manager or similar software preferredMust have at least 3 years experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar positionKnowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)Good with spreadsheets, experienced in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and basic accounting systemsStrong mathematical and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skillsBe able to multi-task Help for Employer Information.
