Senior Tax Accountant
Salary Range

General Accountabilities Duties:

• Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships
• Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
• Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial benefits
• Assist clients with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities
• Prepare and review financial statements and accounting records to identify potential tax issues or opportunities
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with tax regulations
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to clients
• Prepare sales tax returns for Florida and other states

Job Qualifications Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of tax experience experience in a public accounting firm
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in using tax software
• Experience with account analysis, financial sales, mergers acquisitions
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
