Staff Accountant Position Available In Broward, Florida

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Miramar, Florida. The selected candidate will be handling a variety of tasks such as managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger duties. This role is highly critical in ensuring that our financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate record-keeping
• Conduct bank reconciliations periodically to maintain financial integrity
• Manage the general ledger and assist in month-end close processes
• Prepare and record journal entries in compliance with company standards
• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for day-to-day operations
• Regularly review and update customer credit records to reflect current status
• Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed
• Assist in maintaining accurate customer records and processing applications Requirements
• Candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required.
• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.
• Applicant should have experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations.
• Familiarity with General Ledger management is necessary.
• The ability to handle Journal Entries is a must.
• Experience with Month End Close procedures is required.
• Knowledge of NetSuite accounting software is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in using Oracle financial software is desirable.
• Experience in QuickBooks is advantageous.
• Familiarity with SAP financial software is a plus.
