Staff Accountant – Need Locals Only
Job Description:
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in business, Finance, or Accounting (Good to have).
Experience with:
Journal entries.
Fixed assets.
General ledger (GL) account reconciliation.
Experience with ERP systems (Good to have). Key Responsibilities
Review and reconcile 40+ general ledger accounts monthly.
Prepare monthly supplier bank reconciliations.
Support month-end financial closing and analysis.
Assist with quarterly corporate reporting requirements.
Handle ad hoc reporting for divisions as needed.
Track and process all sales commission and incentive programs.
Maintain accurate records for incentive payouts and bill-backs.
Analyze sales expense reports versus budget.
Compile and distribute monthly financial statements and reports.
Compare monthly GL expenses to prior year and explain variances.
Reconcile gross profit postings in the general ledger.
Prepare monthly executive team expense reconciliations.
Produce Juice Department monthly profit & loss (P&L) statements.
Generate monthly Meals & Entertainment (M&E) reports.
Review and analyze bonincentive payments, bill-backs, and GL accruals.
Reconcile and review bank deposit and cash posting records.
Post necessary journal entries into the GL.
Ensure no duplication in incentive program submissions and payouts.
Submit incentive payment information to payroll.
Summarize and report incentive payouts per team member.
Bill back suppliers for incentive program reimbursements.
Create management reports and financial analyses as needed.
Process monthly revenue, PST (Provincial Sales Tax), and commission payouts.
