Sunrise, FL 33323 Job description: Family Office in Sunrise is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant / Preparer to join our team. We are looking to add a tax preparer for individual, corporate, partnership, and estate tax return preparation. We are looking for someone who specializes in taxation, accounting, audits, and consulting for individuals and businesses. 3-5 years of experience required.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Prepare partnership, S corporation, and fiduciary tax returns
• Draft correspondence and other formal documents to the IRS and State
• Organize and maintain database and files
• Maintain confidentiality with personal and sensitive data

Qualifications and Competencies:

• College Degree in Accounting (Bachelor needed, Master in Taxation preferred)
• Prior experience with an established public accounting firm
• Required PTIN eligibility
• Ability to research tax issues
• Self-motivated to complete tasks w/o supervision and oversight
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
