Sr. Accountant 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Naples, FL 34110 We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Accountant to join our growing team in Naples, FL . This is a hands-on role that blends traditional accounting responsibilities with financial planning and budgeting support. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a solid foundation in GAAP, month-end close processes, and financial forecasting. This position will report directly to the Controller and collaborate closely with leadership to ensure financial accuracy and support data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage general ledger activity and ensure accurate financial reporting Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and annual budgets Collaborate with department heads to track budget performance and explain variances Assist in cash flow analysis and capital planning Support external audit and tax preparation activities Recommend and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred) 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and financial analysis Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling) Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or similar) Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
