Job Description
Description We are looking for a dedicated Senior Accountant to join our team in Naples, Florida. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting month-end close processes. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the organization’s financial success.
Responsibilities:
- Perform account reconciliations, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to verify consistency between bank statements and internal records.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring timely and accurate posting of financial transactions.
- Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to analyze financial data and generate reports.
- Participate in month-end close activities, including preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules. Requirements
- Proven experience in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations.
- Strong understanding of general ledger management and journal entry processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex formulas and analyze datasets.
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
