Job Description:

Accountant Ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of direct accountingexperience. Main job functions will be performing invoicing, closeactivities and forecasting. Potential contract to hire. Approximateconversion salary would be $50

• 60k annually. Contractor will be support internal corporate systems (Help Desk,Data Center management, Production Support). Previous experienceusing the cost allocation model with interna corporate systems isstrongly preferred.

• Tools:

  Oracle General Ledger and e-Business Suite, HyperionPlanning/HFM, and Microsoft Excel

• Education:

  Bachelor?s degree from a four year college oruniversity in business or finance required and MBA preferred.

• Experience:

  5

• 7 years’ experience in finance or accounting; orequivalent combination of education and experience.

Exposure to Banking IT and Software Development a plus. !

Summary:

Responsible for finance and accountingsupport for Information Technology and internal corporate systems;to include creating financial reports for internal and externaluse, collecting and analyzing financial data to ensure that allreporting is in compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines,and conducting research of accounting rules and regulations andproviding guidance on company policy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

? Prepares financial statements for internal and externalusers. ? Collects and analyzes financial data, ensuring that all reportingis in compliance with SEC and GAAP reporting guidelines. ? Assists internal and external auditors as needed. ? Assists with close activities and journal entries. ? Performs Balance Sheet review and maintaining Balance Sheetreconciliation schedules. ? Provides Pipeline Reporting, Pro forma and profitabilityanalysis ? Prepares and reviews client invoices ? Oversees internal cost allocations ? Ensures Software Revenue Recognition guidelines are beingfollowed. ? Performs other related duties as assigned.
