• The
• Senior Staff Accountant
• is an integral part of the Finance group. The Senior Staff Accountant will work closely with Client Finance, Client Teams, Project Accounting Manager and Director to create client level P&Ls and to provide financial support to the client teams.

• RESPONSIBILITIES

• Key Responsibilities:

• + Review SOW’s + Project, Contract and Concur Setup and review + Revenue Recognition – Contract Level + Project Accruals and Expense Re-classes + Variance Analysis assistance + Client invoicing + Balance Sheet Reconciliation + Ad Hoc Analysis including Client Team support & Interaction

• QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Education Requirements:

• + BS or BBA in Accounting/Finance + 5-7 years’ work experience in Finance/Accounting related positions

• Required Skills:

• + Experience with Revenue accounting principle + Service contract experience a plus + Advanced Excel data analysis skills required + Access database experience a plus + Oracle experience a plus + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Ability to get into the details and summarize + Proven ability to work well in teams + Manage multiple priorities + High level organization + High energy and results oriented •

Expectations:

• + Ensure all accounting activities are performed timely and accurately and in accordance with the project contract + Daily interaction with both Finance & Client Team organizations + Manage Balance Sheet accruals and maintain details back up + Support the Client Finance organization to provide answers to “Why it happened?

” questions and to “What happened?” questions + Obtain a through and detailed understanding of customer engagements prior to project launch + Invoice clients in timely accurate manner + Cross-functional communication is very important – all project functions should be alerted to events that may have an impact on either the performance or the finances of a project + We want the Client Finance & Accounting team to view the Client Finance & Accounting Project Accountants as a value adding partner who proactively seek to improve the business
