Description We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant for a fantastic company in the Jacksonville area. A CPA is required, and this dynamic position offers the chance to oversee critical financial operations in a fast-paced environment. Please note this is a 100% onsite role.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare financial statements and perform reconciliations (GL, bank, A/R, A/P). + Manage journal entries, month-end/year-end close, tax filings, and audits. + Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. + Supervise junior team members and drive process improvements. + Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships. + Utilize ERP systems to enhance financial reporting and workflows. Certification:
CPA required. +
Experience:
Prior experience in financial reporting, general ledger maintenance, and audit preparation. +
Skills:
Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and Excel, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong communication.
