Position:
As a key member of our finance team, the Staff Accountant will play a vital role in supporting the firm’s day-to-day accounting operations and month-end close processes. This role involves preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, managing payroll and benefits, posting daily bank activity, and analyzing monthly compensation and insurance data. The ideal candidate will bring precision, consistency, and a proactive approach to maintaining the financial health of the organization. Job Responsibilities but not limited to: Assist with the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries, and account reconciliations. Calculate monthly bonus accruals for all compensation plans Perform semi-monthly payroll processing, including the preparation and posting of journal entries for salaries, taxes, and insurance. Analyze benefits invoices monthly for all insurance policies Post bank activity to the general ledger daily Manage employee benefits including deductions and eligibility status. Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
