We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented professional to join our General Ledger Accounting team in a full-time role based in Jacksonville, Florida. As a GL Accountant, you’ll help maintain accurate financial records across multiple locations, support the monthly close process, and work closely with departments across the business. MUST HAVE AN ACCOUNTING-SPECIFIC BACHELORS DEGREE
salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM – 4 PM
education: Bachelors Responsibilities Prepare, calculate, and enter monthly journal entries into the accounting system
Responsible for accounting for multiple entities in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Coordinate month-end process with various operations managers, Accounts Payable and Revenue teams
Analyze monthly financial performance against budget and prepare variance explanations
Prepare ad hoc management reports as needed for research and explanation purposes
Research, identify and correct unusual or incorrect accounting entries
Prepare schedules and sample selections for audit requests
Perform other job-related duties as directed The essential functions of this role include:
