Summary:

Seeking a Sr Accountant to oversee finance operations, ensure compliance with audit standards, and optimize accounting practices within a defense contractor environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting
10+ years of progressively responsible experience
Experience with FAR, DFAR, COS, and

DCMA/DCAA

audit standards
Computer literacy with Microsoft products and ERP software

Preferred Skills:

Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation
Eligibility for international travel and access to U.S. military installations

Responsibilities:

Oversee implementation of cost + contract accounting for defense contractors
Optimize inventory reporting and analysis
Issue monthly financial statements and recommend industry benchmarks
Manage annual budget production and forecasts
Comply with government reporting requirements and tax filings

Pay Details:

$50.00 to $55.00 per hour
