Accountant Boilermakers Southeastern Area Joint Apprenticeship Committee Sun City Center, FL 33573 Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our non profit apprenticeship training team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in various financial software. Responsibilities Audit and Process Requests for Reimbursement from our Union Locals Accounts Payable, Check Runs and Bank Reconciliations. Prepare and analyze Quarterly Financial Statements Payroll. Utilize financial software, including Quickbooks. Maintain double-entry bookkeeping practices to uphold the integrity of financial data. Collaborate with our accounting firms during quarterly and annual audits. Skills Proficiency in accounts payable, bank reconciliation, journal entries, budgeting, and payroll processing. Strong knowledge of financial software applications Experience with double-entry bookkeeping principles is essential. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports.
