The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP, and will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires excellent financial acumen and the ability to work collaboratively Responsibilities Order Processing – Sales Order Creation, Packing Slip, Invoicing and Statements. Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Perform balance sheet reconciliation and ensure all accounts are properly accounted for. Manage payroll processing and ensure timely payments to employees. Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders. Oversee general ledger accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with private equity teams on financial analysis and reporting. Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal controls. Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and practices. Experience with payroll processing and balance sheet reconciliation. Familiarity with private equity accounting is a plus. Knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations is advantageous. Proficiency in accounting software applications. Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
