The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in general accounting principles, experience with financial reporting, and familiarity with tax compliance and preparation. This role offers a well-rounded opportunity to contribute to both operational and strategic financial functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes. Contribute to tax-related tasks, including preparation of tax filings and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed. Help identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or progress toward CPA certification is a plus. 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience, including exposure to tax processes. Proficiency in accounting software Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
