Full Job Description Summary of Position:
The Project Account is responsible for overseeing all finances involved in a project.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and maintaining project accounting files.
- Assist in preparation of contract documents.
- Verify the projects that need to be billed and coordinate accurate and timely billing with the Project Manager, according to contract requirements.
- Communicate with Project Managers and track payments for consultants.
- Review, route and post consultant invoices
- Assist in general accounting/administration
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of accounting experience in the construction, architecture or engineering industries
- Job cost entry experience preferred
- Attention to detail, strong time management skills
- Ability to work well on a team
- FDOT and or municipality billing and contract experience a plus
- FDOT Consultant Invoice Transmittal System (CITS) experience a plus AIM Engineering & Surveying, Inc.
